Il Violino - CREMONA

We came to the violin for years to eat, but it's always a surprise. we took the chef's degotation menu combined with the selection of wines chosen by sommelier. all the great perfect combinations great research behind each dish with ingredients you would not expect. super recommended for those who want to experiment and try new flavors.

My husband and I had dinner at the restaurant on the violin for his birthday and we had a great time (we stayed five years ago and we had always had fun). we chose a surprise menu prepared by the chef consisting of seven courses (I am vegetarian and I was made a menu for me) wonderful. as entrèe they brought us some bread made by them and some grissini to the tomato, with an artisan oil and a butter always prepared by them. all the delicious and different dishes for me, too, that I had special needs. I loved gazpacho with tomato and pepper, I would have drunk it at the end of the meal! Great! we spent the right time for a dinner and a high-level service. I recommend it.

A room in an ancient building, in the central area a few steps from the cathedral. some tables in the dehors, large living room inside. courteous welcome, table in great location, relaxing environment. Menu with traditional revisited dishes, well-stocked wine paper. excellent scaling, excellent quality of the ingredients. right waiting times, proper price ratio. If you accept, two tips: I would improve the entrance, which remains rather hidden, and I would improve the protection of the local from the harassed insects. However recommended.
