The Hillside Inn - Crawley

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The service was good, the food was delicious, and we were able to chat comfortably even after we paid our bill.

From entering to leaving the staff were pleasant and efficient, eating arrived in time and was hot and on a hot plate roasted potatoes were correct roasting not frozen and deep roasted. the opposite in which we sat was clean and welcoming. prices are comparable to others and it was a good value for what we were served, we will return very soon

The food was excellent and very delicious. The pricing was fantastic for the quality of food and the service was exceptional.

Restaurant we visited was understaffed. Unfortunately, one of our meals was served cold while the rest were only lukewarm. The flavors were good, and the staff apologized for the cold dish by bringing us some hot gravy to try to warm it up. Another dish had too much fat, making it inedible, but the staff was apologetic and replaced it. The restaurant itself was chilly, with many diners wearing coats. The staff tried to warm it up by relighting the fire when asked. Service was slow because there were only two people running the entire bar and restaurant.
