Cracoes - Craven

Stopped for a snack and a drink. The cafe has a warm and welcoming feel to it, reinforced by the friendly hospitality of the staff. Sandwiches were excellent, as were the scones we had the following day. The place was clean and smart as were the toilets. Would certainly call again when in the vicinity.

Recent visit. The venue is charming and inviting. The staff were lovely and always seemed more than happy to help. We ordered two breakfasts, they were very nice but if honest a little pricey for what you get. Would at least think a round of toast (2 slices) should be added as standard. The egg cooked perfectly. I would visit again, yes as a treat.

Greated by a very friendly man, who sat us down in the window, we orderd a mushroom paninie, scampi (this was fresh and battered) truly amazing, and my son had roast beef this was fantastic by all accounts he wasn't for sharing.. If your passing well worth a stop

I stopped by on June 2nd for a snack. I ordered garlic mushrooms on toast. Unfortunately, the toast was very lightly toasted, making it soggy and unappetizing. I only managed to eat the garlic mushrooms and left the rest. When I mentioned to the staff that the bread was soggy and needed more toasting, I was told that I was the first person to complain about it. Overall, I was disappointed that my issue was not addressed properly. I paid my bill without causing a scene, but I quietly suggested that the toast should be toasted more. The response I received was unhelpful and unfriendly, resulting in a low rating for my experience.

I wanted to thank the staff who served me back on August 13th 2022. I was cycling the Way of the Roses solo on a very hot day and had done about 45 miles by the time I arrived in Cracoe, I was suffering from heat exhaustion (shaking, felt sick, etc). They were really nice and gave me lots of ice in my drinks, and filled up my water bottles with ice cold water. The sit in the shade and the icy drinks got me through the remainder of my journey to Pateley Bridge. Thanks so much to the staff, very welcoming and helpful. Really Appreciated and saved my bacon that day.
