Good food service, great drinks, nice location, very clean.
Everything surpassed our expectations. we are so glad that we found this place on an open table. eating was delicious, our server was prompt and very attentive. she even brought me my dessert out with an illuminated candle because she found out my bday was a few days ago. we took our 10 year old sohn and she said that, although they did not have a children's menu for the New Year's menu, she offered pasta with red sauce that is my son's favorite. the ambiente is perfect with the low lighting and the decor is very beautiful. we will definitely be back to try their full menu. well done revolution!
We were very disappointed. Please keep in mind, I can count on one hand hand how many times in my life I've sent a meal back. The calamari was a bit undercooked and flavorless, but it wasn't so bad that we would send it back. Then came our entrees. A filet mignon, stuffed shrimp, tomahawk and plain pasta. All the meals, except the pasta and tomahawk came out cold and the veggies weren't even cooked through. We sent everything but the pasta and tomahawk back. The waitress was great! She totally understood, apologized, and took care of it. When it came back out, everything was much warmer (not as hot as we'd like but considerably better) and they re plated everything which was was very nice to see. The food wound up being pretty good, but for the price and that the restaurant wasn't all that busy, we were disappointed. Kudos to the waitress for handling things perfectly and to the chef for re plating. Not sure if we'd try Revolution again. Perhaps if a friend of our's had a great experience, we could be convinced to give them another shot.
We have not been for years, sat at the bar. First, far too cool to be comfortable. They actually had the AC on in January. The bartender turned it off, but it came back on. I have to say, service was outstanding. Please, if your customers are wearing jackets dining, turn the heat up. The food was a mixed bag. Crab cakes, outstanding. Pizza, very good. Jamabalaya was not correct, tasted like american chop suey with a kick. And pasta was way overdone, cooking 101 fail. Overall, disappointing.
