Sushi On The Strip - Cranbrook

I love the Chicken Katsu bento box at this restaurant. The miso soup was delicious and pairing it with green tea really hits the spot.

This restaurant didn't quite hit the mark, but it wasn't the worst either. The seaweed was chewy, the tuna lacked flavor, but the avocado roll was excellent. The deep-fried California roll was massive and delicious.

This sushi restaurant in BC is probably the worst we have been to. We brought our two kids and were disappointed with several aspects of the food. The chicken on the kids menu was cold and appeared to have been cooked days ago. The gomae had a brownish color and did not taste fresh (especially for $8). The miso soup was watery and lacked a bonito base. The salad had excessive dressing and the portions were small. However, the fish was fresh and tasty, earning the restaurant two stars solely for that. The bathroom was not clean, with sticky slime on the floor. There was also no changing table available, making it difficult for us with small babies. The restaurant is not kid-friendly, as the bathroom is inadequate for changing babies and there are no learning chopsticks available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The sushi was amazing! We ended up ordering more after demolishing all our food. We did go all out therefore we paid $88 for two people including alcohol.We will now be regulars here ?

My husband moved to Cranbrook from the Shuswap last year. We wanted sushi tried Sakura we were disappointed after all the golden reviews, we tried and what a difference the seafood was fresh and tasty, they are definitely the best in Cranbrook
