フィードバックを提供するWe dined on a cold Hills evening, and even though it was a Tuesday the place was very busy. The open fires make for a welcoming first impression on such a night! We ate in the restaurant section. One diner felt his medium steak was a tad underdone for his liking, but for the rest of us, the medium rare steak, the pork loin and the barramundi were cooked to perfection. Prices are mid range for the standard of food. Will definitely be returning.
Had a weekend away with some mates, and stopped for dinner at Crafers Hotel. WOW, what a wine list, and Leena the sommelier was amazing. Not only was their a great representation of the local SA wines, their were some of the best French wines I've ever seen. The food was classy and not expensive and atmosphere was great. Isn't it great going to a country pub with no Pokie machines, and people just have old fashioned fun enjoying a night out! Thanks guys.
Frequent visitor to this hotel. Have never had a bad meal...always good . The vibe is warm and welcoming and staff excellent
What a warm & welcoming pub for a leisurely Sunday lunch. Beautiful decor with a lovely open fire, varied wine selection & friendly staff. Food presentation was a highlight. We enjoyed a delicious meal of mussels, tuna & artichoke salad, duck confit, crackling pork loin and cauliflower gratin. We would highly recommended the Crafers. It was a true fine dining experience.
At $3.50 an oyster you'd expect something more than shrivel bacon & black sauce, sadly this is not the case. While the ambiounse might be good the meal prices are outrageous & not backed up by any real flavour. Cheese on the cheese plates are good again a stingy amount for the $ charged. Will not venture back nor recommend it. Overseas visitors beware overpriced food for a county pub experience. Parking is also an issue and not well or safety signed. Big H.U.G.H fail!
