Shaya - Cozumel

Quite simply, one of the best Mediterranean/ Middle East meals of my life. Every item in the menu that we ate as a family of four, was immaculate in taste. The baba ghanoush, hummus- both mushroom and cauliflower, pita bread were all outstanding. Very cosy atmosphere with outdoor and indoor seating. Very attentive service.

Learned about happy hour which is a terrific deal on hummus. Get every hummus, all amazing, with fried chicken being the table fav.

Love this place... Especially the pita bread. Waitress so sweet... Will come back..

Healthy and amazing at the same time. We sat at the bar and the bartender and wait staff were excellent. Had various Israeli/ Middle East standards, hummus, tahini and Falafel. The fresh bread and oil was insanely good and will be back for the fried chicken hummus again. I’m docking one star because they tack on 3% for credit cards. This is annoying to no end. Yes it’s printed clearly at the bottom of the menu. But really they should update their name to Shaya( bring cash to avoid additional fees. Build the fees into your menu prices.

Really enjoyed our dinner. The cocktails were lovely. The wine recommendation paired very well and the food was tasty and innovative. Overall I loved it and would be thrilled to eat there again
