Tikin Xic Snack Bar - COZUMEL

One of their employees lied and said the other snack bar was for locals only. Tikin Xic only accepted cash while the other bar (El Cielo) also accepted credit. We only discovered it when we had ordered it. I also heard their staff... try life jacket rentals to several cruise ship passengers cruise ship passengers who actually get life vests free at the Explora Club just down on the beach.

Love the couple that owns this little snack bar. Great service, great food. Can either eat at the picnic tables or at your beach chairs. Definitely worth the visit and we will be back. Great chips and guac, quesadillas and tacos.

First the beach is gorgeous, clear water. White sand. Punta sur is a sight to behold! Tikin Xic adds to the atmosphere! It's a small hut inside Punta sur park. Past the larger beach clubs. All the way at the end. A few beach chairs...(which is usually enough), some picnic tables, and hammocks. Cold beer, and for sure some of the best food on the island! Chicken fajitas are wonderful. Fish tacos were great. My kids had fish fillet (grouper) and raved about it! Ismial (I hope that's right) has taken care of us so well! My family of five went friday and Saturday and felt so pampered. Prices were cheap. We LOVE this place! See you when we come back!!

My wife and I ordered a couple of Coco Loco's....they were fantastic, they come in a big coconut with another big cup full of the drink so you can refill your coconut...super refreshing. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail which was also fantastic. Great beach, super relaxing and we even got to see a Cozumel Raccoon

Found this place at the end of the dirt road at Punta Sur. The staff were very friendly and offered covered beach seating or hammocks free of charge without mandatory eating/drinking at the snack bar. Chicken fajitas were good and were around $10 US. Soft drinks were served in cans and weren't as cold as we would have liked, priced about $2. Snorkel vests were free of charge with i.d. and the nearby stand. Staff very helpful in pointing out where to snorkel. The view and sandy beach is amazing!
