Coconuts Bar and Grill - COZUMEL

What we like: birds around punch guacamole what we do not like: service service service service service service price our bill was astronomical this place was a big disappointment. we drove a long way to eat here as recommended by the car rental. after I got our bill, I wonder if the car hire gets a cut to send it there. the personal was not helpful or pleasant. I wouldn't go back. it was a waste of time. fyi there was a penis commentary from a server to a birthday girl the next table, but she was mature enough to handle it.

Bring cash (no credit cards). they can't beat the view. the place is something above the tip with its device, the women objectiveed, but it, I hope, is all in good fun. Drinks are strong and eat is good.

This bar was part of the cozumel bar hop. great drinks and eating. the walk makes them feel like they are in the jungle. as soon as they make it up, they give an open air tree homeable. the papageien are beautiful, dear the...spiriting! that is beautiful!

I usually write favorable reviews. But I hope Coconuts will learn by this review. My husband and I went to coconuts to sit by the ocean and have drinks. I ordered a top shelf large margarita. It was so bitter and acidic I couldn’t drink...it. It was expensive so I didn’t just want to waste my money. I asked our Waitor if they could remake it. I explained what it tasted like so they could adjust the ingredients a little. He was a little hesitant but took the drink. I waited a while and then finally got his attention and he brought me another drink. It pretty much was the same. I was going to just ask for my money back or a completely different drink but the Waitor disappeared and never returned. I’m talking 15+ minutes. So I went to the bartender to see what could be done. He said that was the way they make them. In the end I wasted about $20 on a drink and no one really seemed to care but me. It seems like as long as we’re agreeable no problems it’s all fun and good times. But if we have an issue they don’t want to be bothered.

What a good idea! fun. good food and prices. I go every time I'm in cozumel at least once. the birds, dogs, sand. again this month. I'll be there at least once. ask the photo album
