Wood Cafe Thai Cuisine - Covina

So I was in the area and I was craving some Thai food. This place did not disappoint ! The food was amazing and the service was great. I had some egg drop soup and some pad Thai. A great hole in the wall restaurant. The place is very small and cool. However, heads up there is no public restroom available. Most people order take out from here.

NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT! BBQ RIBS, Delicious, TASTY TENDER, SHRIMP PAD THAI Very Good Golf Cooked the EGGPLANT With GOUND PORK TO PERFECTION! GOLF was also engaging and willing to please his clientele. He does not take his customers for granted like some other Thai Restaurant owners do in the area do. GOLF even asked what THAI Condiments I wanted. None of the others even offer or forget. Thanks! For delicious Food GOLF the attentive customer service.

Food Here Is Normally Amazing But Over Sometime This Place Has Been Slacking. Portions Are A lot Smaller Than Usual and They Aren’t Mixing The Seasoning Right In Their Food. Ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Got Salty Parts. So Sad

The food is so delicious, I really like pad Thai , and the Thai tea is so good , and the manager very friendly and nice, I come here with my mom and she love the food , but when she ask about the WiFi, the waitress say I will ask the manager but she not , and she not answering my mom question, I really don’t like it but just that , everything is good

Ordered pad thai, orange chicken and rice. The orange chicken was pretty disgusting. I'm pretty sure it was frozen from a bag and defrosted and heated up in a microwave. Took a few bites then trashed it. The pad thai was so so could've also been heated in a microwave. I doubt they have an actual wok in the kitchen. The rice seemed like it was the batch from yesterday that is still in steamer ricecooker overnight. About an hour later I really had to use the restroom. I see people there eating and some good reviews so if you're gonna est there I would really ask the person taking your order what is made fresh there that's on their menu. Instead offering a big menu with lots of reheated frozen food options that are just terrible, streamline and cook only what you can do fresh. It was pretty awful I won't go back and try again. It's really ashame we just threw the food away. I don't have any pictures cause we just tossed it away.
