The Newlands - Coventry

The pub had a nice and welcoming atmosphere, but I was disappointed with the food I ordered. I opted for the seasonal salmon from the sizzler grill, but unlike other sizzlers I've had, it came on a regular plate with overcooked vegetables. The chef also seemed to go overboard with the seasoning, making the dish overwhelmingly salty.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I visit frequently. However, the place could use a thorough cleaning. There are cobwebs everywhere, the carpet needs a vacuuming, and the tables and chairs also need a good cleaning.

Sarah and her team are amazing, the food is excellent. I especially enjoyed the curry feast and the donuts. Liz had the gammon and Dave had fish and chips.

Exellent food at a very good price,the service was very very good. We will definitely recommend the Newlands to friends and family
