This restaurant is a fantastic choice for lunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We tried the roast dinner and found it to be well worth the price. The location is great, right across from Morrisons.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the home-cooked food was delicious. I ordered the ham and eggs and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I will definitely return in the future.

During a weekend hike, we stumbled upon The Teesdale and decided to have dinner there. I randomly chose the vegetarian option and was pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato burger with red pepper salsa. It was possibly the best meal I've ever had. I loved it so much that I convinced my friend, who is usually hesitant about vegetables, to try it as well. She enjoyed it so much that we ended up going back the next night to order the same dish. We had the opportunity to speak with Chef Mark Mendelssohn, who created the delicious meal. His passion for good food, especially vegetarian options, was evident. I am looking forward to dining here again and possibly staying here on my next visit to this beautiful area.

Come across this restaurant while in the area. Sat outside with our dogs had sandwiches which were excellent and they came with home cooked chips, coleslaw and salad. Great value too and the staff were great even brought water out for our dogs. Really enjoyed our lunch.

Called one Monday lunch time after seeing reviews on tripadvisor , they where not wrong . Some of our party had the roast dinner it came with 5 different veg , 2 had veggie cottage pie and myself had scampi (LOADS OF SCAMPI . Everybody said how tasty the meals where .
