The vibe wants to be cool, but they need to train their workers on good manners and customer service standards. I was waiting for half an hour for a sandwich to go as I was seeing other orders and customers go before mine. I asked after a little while and they said mine was the next one, but that wasn’t the case. I guess they messed up the orders or something, which can happen to everybody, but the way they disregarded me was completely unacceptable. When the sandwich finally came, I told them: “You should let customers know when you have such a long wait, half an hour for a sandwich is a lot”. She responded: “It was 25 minutes”. Seriously? Not only they don’t apologize but she had to show such a rude and sassy attitude? That’s the best way to lose customers, like myself. After such and an experience, I didn’t even care the bread was completely soggy and they forgot some ingredientes in the sandwich.
The food and hassle isn't worth the wait. I don't know if the rave reviews came from family and friends but there wasn't anything worth bragging about.
Another overrated Salt Lake food place.Nothing better than any other Jimmy or Sub House.
My only complaint about this place is the parking. It is difficult to get in, or find a spot and get out. However, the food is great, with unique options and healthy fresh feel. The vibe is fun but quiet. It is often empty and almost always a place to sit.
Even Stevens has been on our list for a bit, so we finally dropped by for lunch. The menu has a variety of sandwich options, anyone would be able to find something that sounded good. We tried the sprang chicken and a simple turkey and cheese sandwich. My partner also tried the pretzels and beer cheese. The Sprang Chicken sandwich was huge; you can definitely split this especially since it comes with a side. The sandwich itself was decent, but nothing really stood out. I upgraded my side to saucy tots to try them out and see how they were. The saucy tots were tater tots that came with three dipping sauces: Beer cheese, poppin cream cheese, and house sauce. The house sauce was basically a fry sauce but was just okay. Same with the beer cheese, it was okay. The poppin cream cheese was good and had a nice kick to it, definitely my favorite of the 3. The tots themselves were a little bland but obviously the dipping sauces helped there. The pretzel bread was very good, but again the beer cheese wasn't a huge hit. The turkey and cheese sandwich was also fine, but the fruit cup that came on the side wasn't the greatest. Fruit variety was good but most of it was mushy and definitely almost past it's prime.
