Lucia's - Cotswold

My friends and I stopped by this restaurant for a morning snack since we hadn't eaten yet. We decided to order a ham and cheese toastie, which was delicious. The toastie was filled with thick slices of ham and a strong tasting cheese, not the usual thin or rubbery kind. We were very impressed and would definitely come back to Cirencester just to have it again. The prices were fair for a cafe in the town center, and the staff were very helpful as I was in a wheelchair. They were also following COVID restrictions and practicing safe social distancing. I highly recommend giving this place a try, especially with its 5-star food hygiene rating.

I went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday and sat outside with my small dog. Unfortunately, while we were dining, we got caught in a heavy downpour. When I asked the waitress if we could move inside, she refused and left us with our food on the table in the rain. After requesting to move the table to a covered pedestrian walkway, the waitress agreed but did not assist us. We ended up moving everything ourselves. Thankfully, the staff from Zippy Pics photographers came to check on us and offered to take care of our dog so we could eat inside the cafe. Despite the cold food, I was grateful for their gesture of kindness. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the lack of consideration and poor attitude of the restaurant staff. I would not recommend this establishment, but I want to express my gratitude to the Zippy Pics team for their help.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. I have a medical condition that requires me to use the restroom urgently, and I made the mistake of thinking I could use the restroom at this seemingly friendly cafe. The staff were rude and completely unsympathetic to my situation. I understand that restrooms are typically for customers only, but calling me ‘rude’ and demanding that I make a purchase before using the restroom was unacceptable. I will never visit this establishment again and I urge the staff to be more considerate and understanding of people’s circumstances. We should treat each other with kindness and compassion, you never know what someone may be going through. From one human to another.

We revisited this Cafe as we were in Cirencester , we ordered a bacon sandwich and a bean jacket potato . We never had to wait more than a couple of minutes until the food arrived , both were very good portions and tasty .The prices are very cheap in this Cafe .

Has changed hands recently went in and gave it a try they have tried to keep it the same, I had what I usually do when I went in but unfortunately nowhere near as good as it used to be, will find somewhere else now staff still friendly though
