I was immediately disgusted and couldn't finish my food. When our waiter came to our table, I politely informed him about the tag, but he didn't even offer an apology. Later, when he presented our checks, I noticed I was charged for both tacos and the rice. I told him I wasn't going to pay for the tacos, and he replied, "Well, you're at least paying for the rice and the other taco." I am very disappointed with the service and cleanliness of this establishment. It's frustrating that when I showed him the tag, he simply picked it up and took it inside with him. I understand that mistakes can happen, but basic courtesy and an apology would have gone a long way.
I recently visited this restaurant for lunch after a work meeting on August 8th, and while I was impressed by the food and service, my experience was marred by the owner's behavior. While seated in a booth, my phone slipped off the seat and fell onto the floor. Unfortunately, it ended up slipping down an uncovered vent. The busboy tried his best to retrieve it, but all he came up with was a collection of forks, knives, and leftover food. When the owner arrived, he admitted that he had purchased the vents but never got around to installing them, taking responsibility for the situation. He promised me that he would remove the vent from the basement to retrieve my phone, but that never happened. By Monday, I decided to buy a new phone. I could have splurged on the most expensive option, but instead, I opted for a more affordable model. I dropped off my receipts at the restaurant and even sent him a text with a copy. However, the owner seemed indifferent, asking me what he needed to pay me for and implying that it wasn't his problem. He went on to say he didn't like dealing with issues like this and would hire someone to open the vent. Two days passed with no updates. I genuinely loved this place—the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful—but my enthusiasm has waned. It seems that if something happens to your personal belongings while dining there, it's expected to be your problem. Proceed with caution!
The service was quite poor; I only saw the waiter twice in an hour. Additionally, the food doesn't justify the prices at all.
We went in for lunch, and it seemed like most of the workers were at the bar area socializing instead of working. They were very loud. Food was very bland and not a good representation of Mexican food. I make better tacos at home. Service was horrible. For example, after taking our empty plates, the server walked off and didn't come back. We had to flag someone down who told our server to give us our ticket. He was too interested in socializing.
Our food came out at 3 different intervals and there were only 4 of us. At no time did any staff check on us until it was time to get the bill. When we informed the young man that the service was sub par he just laughed nervously. My wife asked for a box but instead they brought the check. Then they were absolutely incredulous to their lack of service. To the point of being ignorant. Then they wanna tell us not to come back. We'll you ain't gotta worry about that. This place sucks to the highest degree. By the way it was one of the owners that behaved like this.
