The Beachcomber At Crystal Cove

The service was friendly, professional and thoughtful. Food was delicious and beautifully prepared. I had the Mediterranean omelet—plenty of veg in it and the roasted tomatoes were such a fresh tasting touch.

Whenever we are in the area we go to Beachcomber. It never disappoints! So fun to eat right on the Beach. Food is great! Servers are super friendly and helpful! Would recommend to anyone!

We were greeted and seated promptly! The server took our drink and food order. We were served our drinks and then the server said she made a mistake and put my food order in before my husbands and his food would be a couple of minutes after mine. We said that was okay. My order was soup, since it was hot, I ate my soup, finished the soup and the twenty minutes after I finished my lunch, my husbands was server. I had soup, not sure it had to be served immediately.... We were offered a free dessert to make up for it, but neither of us were hungry for dessert. Unfortunately, in these circumstances, the server is the one to suffer. Not the best experience, but could have been easily avoided.

We've had breakfast at Beachcomber many many times and this was our first time there for dinner. Although we were seated for our reservation promptly and food orders taken timely, the service after that from our initial waitress was poor. We waited over 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. From the time of when we placed our orders to leaving, besides her coming by after about 25 minutes of us waiting to say our order should be coming out soon, our waitress was pretty much M.I.A. We had to ask the manager if we can order dessert, to which he asked another waitress to come out to help us. We never saw our initial waitress again for the rest of our time there. Food was mostly good except for the pork chop, which was recommended by our waitress to be served as medium, described as cooked through but still juicy. Unfortunately, it was tough and overcooked.

We live a 10 minute bike ride away but we always feel like we're in Hawaii when we sit outside at one of the beachfront tables. We usually get small plates/appetizers and they are always great. Has to be one of our all time favorite restaurants
