フィードバックを提供するI was disappointed with my experience. On 09/10 I went with my wife, 2 years old child and mother-in-law. It was full and was said that we would sit as soon as seats opened. We sat outside in the heat waiting. Another family of three went about 15 minutes later. Apparently another couple moved to a smaller table and they sat while we waited. When I asked two different employees why they sit and not we, I was told because the couple gave them the place. I really don't want to bring the race into them, but can help?t, but wonder if that was a role, as they (the family that came after) clearly Cuban and we weren't. The less I was extremely disappointed and after thinking about it? I decided to go out and spend my money somewhere.
Good things come in small packages and this is one of them. Absolutely love the food and good prices. We had the churrasco and it was awesome. The staff was nice and even the owner was helping sit guests. You might have to wait for sitting but it will be worth it.
The food is excellent. (I?m of Cuban decent so I know good Cuban food). The times I?ve been there, the wait time has been insanely long. And the hours of operation don?t even make sense, at least to me, as a patron. People eat out the most on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. Closed Sundays, closed after 5pm Fridays Saturdays. Ridiculous
This is what you think of when you hear the term neighborhood gem! Small, friendly and has delicious food. The menu has alot of variety and the portions are a good size. All is prepared fresh so know that sometimes there is a wait for the food but all worth it. I would recommend the Mimas breakfast, the French toast and any of the sandwiches. To drink, a mango shake is a must!
Mima?s Cuban Cafe is such a great spot especially when you?re craving authentic Cuban Cuisine. This is my go to meal for lunch and the pollo a la plancha is full of flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the espresso is delicious. 5/5 stars!
