Brisk Cafe - Coquitlam

I highly recommend this hybrid coffee shop and restaurant that offers a diverse selection of Persian dishes and snacks. I typically order takeout from this place, and the staff are consistently kind and polite. There was one occasion when they mixed up one of my orders, but when I brought it to their attention, they quickly apologized, corrected the mistake, and even offered extra food as a gesture of goodwill. The kale pache for breakfast was delectable, fresh, and aromatic. I do wish the soup had a richer flavor. The maghz-o-zaboon sandwich was also very tasty. Overall, the prices are reasonable.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is simply delicious, with their specialty being Persian Kale Pache, which is highly recommended. The restaurant is immaculate and maintains a high standard of quality. Most dishes are Halal certified. The only thing to note is that while it has a café-like setup, they do serve meals, which might make ordering a bit confusing.

I absolutely love this place! The desserts and sandwiches are delicious, and they serve freshly squeezed orange juice made to order. The staff is always friendly, and my daughter enjoys it here too—she especially loves the little biscuits that come with the coffee. Even if I don't order coffee, I can still ask for the biscuit for her, which is a nice touch!

The service did not meet our expectations, and the young woman who attended to us was somewhat aggressive when we pointed out that she had brought us the wrong order. The venue feels unclear in its identity, struggling to define itself as a café, eatery, or bar, which leaves it lacking character. However, the food was quite good.
