Maclaren River Lodge - Copper Center

Armed with Princess Landtour. Great lodge. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Manager held a very nice flag retired, like this at the end of their season. The rooms were excellent, beautiful remote environment. If you are looking for the hectic and hectic of the larger resort, this is not. We relaxed, took tours, ate and wandered. Wonderful place!

The location was beautiful, and though we only stopped for lunch I was impressed with the atmosphere. The service in the whistlestop could have been better, as soon as there was a 3rd table of guests our waiter stopped paying any attention to our table. There were no drink or water refills offered, the food was mediocre for the above average price, and the drinks were very overpriced. We had to flag the server down after we were finished and had waited around twenty minutes. It is unlikely I would stop to eat there again, despite the lovely atmosphere and view.

This is a wonderful restaurant to dine at! I visited them when they were closed early, but I absolutely love their Sunday breakfast buffet. The sausage gravy and potatoes were just as delicious as always. I’m looking forward to next year!
