The bread's not bad either, but the brownies are so moist and delicious and huge that 1 is enough for two people. Helpful staff. Closes around noon, so you can't put it off.

I was searching for a nearby bakery and ended up at a small one that I suspected sourced their products from a larger supplier. It would be beneficial for them to advertise and let customers know that there is a legitimate baker in town. I was hoping to purchase a loaf of authentic bread but was unable to find it there, so I had to go to the local Tesco instead. Unfortunately, their bread contains additives, including sourdough and other real bread derivatives.

I have only given 1 star for this place, as when we got there, it was closed! Sign on door said it was open for the time we got there (lunch time). We'd walked from Haverigg to stop and have a drink and a cake. Would have loved to have put a better review up. It was not the only shop in the town that was closed thou.
