Blue Heron Bistro - Coos Bay

My daughter lived their pasta dish, and I loved their giant salad. The waitress was very attentive. It was a very relaxing experience. Dietary restrictions: I have a severe onion allergy, which makes eating out difficult. The waitress was able to suggest a few options for mw which honestly was more than I was expecting. They cook to order and my salmon on mu salad was perfect. So delicious.

The Sauerbraten was terrible. Over cooked, very dry, inedible. The potato salad was good. The non alcoholic beer was also terrible

Amazing food, everything is authentic and homemade! Can’t wait to go back.

Returned here from a visit years ago. The menu has changed to include bbq, which left off a lot of German dishes. Our meat was served cold, but pur server fixed that quickly. Desserts are large portions. The bread and rootbeer are homemade and a must have. Service was good.

We had ordered a German Chocolate Cake and a Strawberry New York Cheesecake for our father’s 70th birthday. Adam did an amazing job!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautiful!!! When I went to pick them up, his staff was wonderful and friendly. We will definitely be ordering from him again!
