Zaxby's - Cookeville

The food was all right here. Reminds me of a raising canes, but the sauce is not good. The weight wasn’t too long and the staff was fine. I wasn’t impressed with the chicken though, it was sort of dry.

Great chicken the sauce is to die for. 10/10 quality of food. Prices are average for a chicken restaurant. Services can be excruciatingly slow at times other times very fast.

Zaxby's is a great chicken place! My favorite dishes are the chicken sandwich, the cobb salad and the fried chicken salad. They are friendly and have been doing a great job since covid happened. The dining room is closed, with the drive-thru only open. They get customers through quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, sometimes the chicken is a little tough or dried out, but not always. That only happens every once in a while, thus the 4 star rating.

I loved my buffalo blue chicken salad I ordered. It was a large salad so I felt like it was worth the price. Don't forget the drink unfortunately they are not included with a salad. The atmosphere was nice and clean. They were busy but the wait time was not bad. The employees were both nice and helpful.
