Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

The fries and milkshakes are the best! burgers are ok easy over cooked. three meal times and four big shakes cost $47.00, so it is a little expensive for fast eating.

Not what I expected. The Steak Burger was that. A strip if thin meat on a plain hamburger bun. The hot dog was tasty and the bun was nicely toasted. Not at all impressed,tho....next time I will drive past instead of thru.

I had the double California steakburger combo. It's a decent burger, but the patties are a little thin for my taste. Only not big enough for a 7 dollar burger. And the frits are too thin. I know it's the style they chose, but I prefer fries you don't have to eat with a fork. This is the type of space, with thin burgers and frits that some people dig and some do not.

The burger was fantastic, but the fries would stay hotter and dip more easily into the sauce if they were longer. I also tried a turtle concrete which was good, but would be improved with less chocolate and caramel sauce. The marbled caramel should be reduced so the vanilla custard and caramel flavors can shine through. The dessert ended up being too sweet and chocolatey, overpowering the other flavors.

My first visit to Freddy's was amazing! The staff was attentive and wonderful. Josh went above and beyond to assist us with menu selections and the cookie custard sandwich was like a flavor explosion! Freddy made a great decision in hiring Josh.
