Kfc - Consett

Husband collected a meal this evening and had to wait half an hour and coz of problems with frit. not great I admit, but wonderfully treated by friendly staff who show great care for customers. although he had not complained, he ended with free extras, including desert. plus 20% discount next time. it doesn't matter that someone has problems when they do so much to fix it and keep it informed on the way. great service!

There's a drive-thru option, limited indoor seating with just a few tables, and takeout is available, as well as delivery to your home. If you're picking up an order, there’s a small parking lot for convenience. The staff is friendly, and the food is good, with well-prepared chicken and fries that include the skin. Prices are in line with typical KFC rates.

This is a KFC, so you know what to expect. Located in Consett at the Hermiston Retail Park, it’s easily accessible from the main road and offers a wide variety of chicken products. I would rate it as average in terms of value. I recommend it more for takeout rather than dining in, as the restaurant itself is quite basic, following the standard setup typical of all KFC locations.

The Zelt for KFC in Consett provided us with exactly what we were looking for: quicker service. The new South Banks are fantastic! I tried the hot wings and the BBQ chicken, both of which were very enjoyable.
