Papa Pesto's - Conover

Great value and decent pizza and calzone. The staff at the restaurant were all friendly and service was good. The restaurant doesn't look like much outside, but check it out. Recommend to the small/regular calzone for a person. On the Calzones the crust was great and fillings and sauce were delicious. The little pizza was good enough for our toddler to eat almost completely. If you want a Pizza/Pasta/Subs connection around Hickory area, this place is worth checking out.

A new friend was stranded and after tow money, motel money and food money for 3 days she found herself broke with nothing for her 2kids. Our church contacted the manager and he not only fed her kids but made enough for 2 meals. When you visit say thanks for rescuing a scared single Mom and feeding them an awesome meal.

Working in Conover for the week and walked to Papa Pestos..had the Chicken Philly Supreme..outstanding.. The best 250 feet I’ve walked for excellent food..think I’ll go back tomorrow.

Great place for family dinner, and the Alex is a great person. Always take care of his customers
