No 1 Kitchen - Conover

I was looking for a change for lunch while working on an exit strategy, so I decided to try this place. I called in my order, and it was ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. I had the egg rolls and the fried chicken wings with pork fried rice. I'm originally from New York and have been living in North Carolina for about ten years now. The wings tasted just like they do in New York! I can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. My lunch came to $10, which feels a bit pricey to me, but I'd definitely come back again.

I used to go to this restaurant when it was still Chinese, and although it wasn't too long ago, it felt like a lifesaver. My last visit years ago was disappointing, but I'm glad I decided to give it another shot. I'm not a huge meat eater, but the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection, and the rice was delightful. I also had two spring rolls that were absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The combo meal was very affordable, especially considering the generous portion size. I will definitely be returning.
