It has a wide menu.it was so nice to sit outside , they had heaters put up , and was so close to the Western temple complex so was a delight be there during the day evening.
Undoubtedly one of the best places to chill and have food with friends or family after roaming around the city. People are nice, food quality is good and the environment is good too. Overall it was a great experience. Bonus: There’s a shop attached with this cafe and it has amazing souvenirs you can buy and some really cool paintings made the the local artists based in Khajuraho
Nice resturant located in right front of Western group of temples. We order pizza and waffles, both dishes tasted good. If you like thin crust pizza's then must try pizza here. Resturant doesn't consider request of little bit customisation on food. Should start doing that.
This is the oldest cafe in khajuraho. Started by two swiss sisters many years back on a piece of land that was gifted to them by the erstwhile maharaja of khajuraho, this place is now run by the grandson of one of the original owners. Indoor, outdoor and rooftop sitting arrangements are there. The place gets pretty busy in the afternoon and in the evening. The food here is out of the world; especially continental cuisines. We had tried grilled chicken, chicken sizzler, chicken stroganof with herb rice and chicken fingers. We also tried their cappuccino coffee. All the dishes were cooked to perfection. They serve the best coffee in khajuraho and is a must try. They do have fish and pork recipes on the menu too. The premise bears one of the oldest bougainvillea trees. P.S. The current owner is a dog lover and feeds the local street dogs. Also the restaurant serves free meals to the local destitutes and beggars.
Favourite place in all of Khajuraho! My family and I have been visiting Raja cafe for the last 5 years and we've tried almost everything on the menu. The owner, Robert, and the staff have the best travel suggestions and anecdotes for Madhya Pradesh! Kamtu bhaiya, the chef, in the picture below worked in Germany before moving back home in Khajuraho and makes delicious Continental and Indian Food. Ask him for the most recommended dishes of the day! The Chicken Barbeque Salad, Fish Fry, Pepper Steak, and Malai Tikka are a must have!
