The Melting Pot

After waiting for more than an hour, with the staff being aware that we were going to the theater, we left hungry. Only a very sad attempt with what could be called a tarter ever arrived. The server said the manager would come by to apologize but that never happened either. Drinks were good and the server tries her best but we will never return and could not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

I'm always disappointed when I go here, and this time was no different. I'm not sure if the staff here is drunk, drugged, or just having really tough days. Half the time the hostess is mad you're even there, and it feels like an inconvenience to show up for your reservation. The waiters 9/10 seem like they're brand new, and I've heard the GM have many conversations with disgruntled guests and have to comp something. If you want to waste your entire evening and drop $400 on 3 people, guys, this is the spot. Brought my mom sister in for a 7:30 reservation and left at 11 on a Sunday. Drink service was silly slow, with my sister at a point going to order directly at the bar (didn't expedite anything). We just started ordering another drink as soon as one would arrive, but that didn't fix the 45 minute wait either. We were told they ran out of drinks? There's so much more to write here, and while I've already submitted my review directly to the restaurant a couple days after our experience, the franchise owner obviously doesn't care. I'm telling my mom this place is out of business so I don't have to waste my money and sanity here.

I visited this restaurant two decades ago and have always had fond memories. When planning a birthday trip to Atlanta, this place was on the list to visit. The service was good but could have been better. They seemed short staffed so that may have been the issue. My favorite part of the meal was the appetizer and the dessert. The main course was good but we chose a variety of proteins and veggies so it got confusing on the cook times on what was in the pot. I would visit this place just for the desert, which was incredible. All in all I greatly enjoyed this dinner, especially sharing it with my best friend?

Food was fantastic. QUALITY of the service was amazing, but service was VERY slow. We waited 10-15 minutes to be greeted, and then we waited 40+ minutes with just drinks before any food hit the table. So with an 8:15 PM reservation, it was 10:45 before we left the restaurant, which was a stretch on a school and work night. Our server was WONDERFUL and attentive and made great recommendations, it was just much slower than even a fondue meal should be. We've dined here before so I know that fondue dining is a slower process than typical dining, but this was a bit excessive. I suspect that the servers had tables in different sections of the restaurant, and it's a large spread-out restaurant. It might be better to cluster a server's station together in one area. And if overwhelmed or behind, maybe management could back-up. We never once saw a managerial level employee, not even doing walk-throughs or quality-checks.

Lovely experience! The staff was great, and the food was yummy and just the right portions. Not sure about the price point for the experience, it seemed a little steep for the extras. I probably wouldn't do the “experience” again but it's a family favorite for specials occasions and we will definitely be back:
