Hokkaido Japanese Express - Concord

This place has solid Sushi! I've been missing my favorite sushi spot in Charlotte since moving to Concord. I'm happy to have found this place.Food: 4/5

For a local Japanese restaurant it out favorite in the area. The sushi seem fresh and we enjoy it. They are pretty quick and the restaurant is clean on the inside.Food: 5/5

Well the service was excellent. Very attentive. However the issue was with flies. I can not eat where there are flies so I immediately packed up my food and went home with it. The combo hibachi plate was so so. It consisted of shrimp, scallops, chicken, and steak. I enjoyed the shrimp and steak flavor. The chicken was bland but tender. And the scallops were ok. The shrimp roll was disgusting tasted old and oily.

Tried to take family to dinner on Sunday website says open. Called and staff said the are open. Family of four shows up and walk in and they say take out only. Update your website and make sure staff are informed to tell people it’s take out only over phone.

Food was cooked properly and was very good. Service was fantastic. We'll definitely come back.Food: 5/5
