We usually buy from Levetto. We wanted to try something new. We got the pappardelle pasta, rigatoni, and Caesar. The pastas were ok..needed some seasoning, but still good. The pappardelle was doused in oil. Caesar was yummy.
I picked up takeout for my family. I got the funghi pizza share size $15, the pesto pollo pasta $16 and a kids pasta $6. The portions were fair and the taste was unbelievable! Every bite had flavour! They were very accommodating to our picky toddler and customized the pasta at no extra cost. The staff and chef who came over were super friendly and helpful. I must say the pizza dough was nothing like I have ever had before. light and fluffy yet crispy. I never eat the crust and I ate every bit of of it! We were stuffed and happy at the end of our meal and will for sure return for more! This place is a true gem hidden away at Keele and Rutherford in Vaughan. Not to mention free parking and a nice takeout area.
My husband and I visited Tosto Quickfire Pizza Pasta for dinner. You order your food at the front and then they give you a pager and you sit down at a table and when the food is ready they buzz you. I would much rather someone serve me at the table rather than having to serve myself. We ordered the Caesar salad and it was really good. It had just enough dressing and the cheese they put on top was really tasty. A piece of lemon would have been nice though. We also ordered the fungi pizza. It was good but it had a strange taste which my husband thinks was some sort of oil that they drizzled over the top of the pizza. Next time they can leave it off. The pizza crust was my favourite part. It was nice and crispy. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give this place a 6.
I checked this place out with my family on a Friday night. Very welcoming atmosphere, complimentary WiFi, with an Italian-inspired casual ambience. The menu is essentially made of a rich choice of freshly made pasta (very interesting the pappardelle and mushroom.) and a selection of focaccia (they shouldn't call it pizza as the crust is thick, pleasantly soft although nicely crispy at the bottom.) Perfect for patrons who are hungry but non willing to stick to just one topping. They bring you wooden boards of focaccia, different toppings and ready to share! Not expensive at all! Family friendly.
