This historic Wisconsin Supper Club is a weekend gem! They serve the best Old Fashioneds in Polk County, and their Prime Rib Dinner on Saturdays is absolutely delicious.
We were informed that there would be a short wait, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seated. Paying $4 for a bottle of Spotted Cow felt a bit steep. We ordered the burger, the walleye special, and the steak special. I’d recommend sticking to the burgers since the specials weren’t anything to write home about. I was really looking forward to the French onion soup, but it was a letdown as well. Overall, I think I’d choose to eat in Cumberland or Amery next time if I’m looking for anything other than water or a burger. The burgers are good and affordable, though!
The food here is absolutely amazing. We've dined here many times and have never had a disappointing meal.
This place has a special place in the hearts of me and my family and friends! Come here and love to go back every weekend. Can never go wrong with the chicken (what they are known for), fish roast (my favorite is boiled with potatoes cleanliness and a role naturally), pizzas, oriental chicken salad, and my new love is for the French onion soup in winter! But can the shrimps pass dinner, not compare with everything else. I never had the pasta, lasagna or burger myself, but my family members love them too. Great specialties throughout the week, but the fish fry keeps us coming every Friday in true Wisconsin fashion. One of these local places where they know you and your family, and if you are like my parents order your drink, and it is very family-friendly. Can't wait until the summer comes back to the terrace!
