Close to the Comox Marina and main street, always a good place to go for coffee. They have a small outside "patio" but is right beside the street, but south facing so always sunny when its out! Staff are awesome, and always friendly. Good selection of cakes and desserts, have never been disappointed when I have ordered anything. Have never eaten there, but they have lunch available.

Outstanding place, people, swag and vibe. Coffee was good, ordered 4 espresso shots which were not as strong as other places. Smooth coffee however and will be making this a regular visit. Tons of selection of coffee, teas, latte, and treats. They have drinks like "turmeric latte" which are not common but they are amazing.

I've been to the Komox Grind several times, but the other day was the most remarkable. A Sunday morning and the place was full. Managed to get a great spot at the window when another customer left, so my hubby ordered our coffee. The place was hopping yet there was just the one server. When she called that our order was ready she tipped the entire Americano over the counter onto the floor. That left her a bit flustered, with other customers waiting and orders to fill. She cleaned up quick though and got back to work. But then she forgot our order. We waited, but my husband had to go back to remind her. She apologized and she looked a bit embarrassed but she kept smiling and then got right to it. When our order was ready she handed my hubby his money back. He tried to refuse, but she said that's what they do at "The Grind". Turns out there were supposed to be two other servers there, but something happened and she ended up by herself. She took it all in stride and handled it amazingly. I like to shop local as much as possible. With The Grind there's no reason not to. The coffee is great. Ambience is really nice,too. But it's the people that make all the difference here.
