Country Pride - Commerce City

Our waitress was terrible, but the food was pretty good. We asked for butter and she pretended it was a big problem to get it. Then she never brought it out. We got it from another waitress who had a much better attitude about her job. She also brought us the extra napkins that our useless waitress never had to do. I wish I could remember their names because they both earn a different recognition.

Food was great. I am however as a truck driver understandably concerned about the incessant greed inherent in this reserve parking phenomenon. A few spots make sense but this location has over two-thirds of the spots set is reserved at twenty bucks a pop. Unacceptable. I'll give all the stars to the restaurants for quality of service and food but this location I'll give them two Stars. This is a major metropolitan area with lots of commerce and industrial parks but only three actual truck stops. To take advantage of the drivers to that capacity is reprehensible.

I had breakfast at a diner on Saturday at 10 a.m. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was well-prepared and served hot. I enjoyed the Long Haul breakfast; the pancakes were crisp and slightly sweet. Personally, I prefer the fluffy cakes from Perkins, but these were more similar to IHOP's style. The coffee was rich and nutty, which I really liked. The biscuit was delicious, and the Mountain City Skillet was also good. I’m looking forward to trying the steak next time, as it was cooked perfectly. The hash browns were crispy, and the iced tea tasted freshly brewed.

With just 15 minutes until closing, the waitress was incredibly friendly and quickly prepared our food to go. The burgers were absolutely fantastic—juicy and thick. They were the best burgers we've had in quite a while. As a truck driver, it was just the nourishment we needed! :D

The restaurant is very clean and the service is outstanding. It's a fantastic spot for a delicious breakfast or dinner. Located in the TA, it offers ample parking and is conveniently situated near a large store. If you're in search of a great dining experience, I highly recommend this place.
