People arrived and were turned away because of some flooding in the restaurant yet people wouldcontinually show up and wait to be told they cannot serve them. To top it off the food is way overpriced for the quality. Iguess they think a nice looking interior is justification for over priced spaghetti. I'll avoid this place in the future.
Our Waitress was very friendly and paid attention to our drinks and everything that she needed to, but she didn?t bother us too much. She was very patient with me also when I was having hard time deciding what I wanted. it was a very lovely experience andthe food was great. Everything was just perfect.
The bar area offers great deals and on Mondays, they have half-price family meals. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired and the building is in dire need of repairs. The nachos from the appetizer menu are quite good, and the pecan-crusted chicken salad is tasty—when they remember to include all the ingredients. The bowtie festival is the only pasta dish I've found to be somewhat decent. I once tried a steak special, which I normally wouldn't do at an Italian restaurant, and when they actually remembered the seasoned butter to top the steak, it was surprisingly delicious. I've sampled nearly everything on the menu, and these are the only dishes I've enjoyed. It's a bit surprising since I’m not very picky and the menu is quite extensive. On a positive note, the tiramisu is delightful. Overall, I found the quality of most dishes similar to Fazoli’s, yet the prices suggest it's a high-end restaurant, which it definitely is not.
Our food arrived at different times, and when some of it finally did, one dish was cold and had to be sent back. We were seated near the kitchen, and when the cold dish was returned, the cooks suggested to the server that they just stir it up, claiming it was warm on the bottom, even though the meat was still ice cold! Two others in our group ordered the lasagna, and it was the last dish to arrive. When it finally made it to our table, it looked nothing like lasagna—sloppily plated and flat. By that time, the rest of us had already finished our meals, so those two didn't get to eat. On a positive note, our server and the manager were very nice! They took some items off our bill, and our server was attentive despite being short-staffed. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing.
We experienced good service, and the food was decent, but the prices are outrageous. It’s just pasta, which isn't that expensive to buy in bulk. Charging $4 for what amounts to a nickel's worth of tea or soda is excessive. It's unfortunate, especially since the service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable, but we may have to seriously rethink this restaurant's place in our dining rotation. Spending over $70 before tip for a meal that feels like it's worth $40 or less leaves us with a sense of buyer's remorse. This isn’t about inflation; we would have spent less at a local steakhouse even if we ordered their most expensive steaks.
