フィードバックを提供するClub 185 has been a late night irrigation hole in the German village for decades. I'm almost sure my mom went there happy hours with her friends, even if I was a kid. I was in my house recently when I needed late evening bites after a downtown show. The ambience is good and the room feels bigger than it looks outside. Servers were nice, and there were maybe 6 other parties to eat late night at 11:30 on a Friday night. We went for the artichoke and the reubs to share. The bathroom was super creamy and rich. Interesting that it was served with slices from Toast not my favorite, but the bathroom was still great. The reuben was quite terrible. Basically impossible. The meat was large pieces of Gristle and not quite the thin sliced corn beef you expect on a reuben. I feel like I would definitely be back for drinks, but probably not for food soon, and in any case the reuben would not recommend.
A good west of buffalo when they wake up after a bark. Moreover, their cheese cucumbers grab them and leave them for their escape. parking is difficult in this neighbourhood so prepared that especially in their special nights. Takeaway/takeout is also a great option.
I called in advance to let them know we have a group of 10. when we showed up, the server was rude and specified order at the bar and they need to pick it up there. we have gone out.
Friendly atmosphere; brick walls and original tin ceilings! Food is made at home and wonderful. The best beer cheese soup I've ever had.
Consistency, great food, and ambiance. That’s what comes to mind when I think of 185. I’ve been a somewhat frequent patron since Fall 2014 and can say with assurance that the food has been of consistent delicious quality since my first visit. From what I’ve heard from long-time patrons it has been consistent since the current iteration of 185 began in 2002. The atmosphere has also remained unchanged- comfortable and with a kind of contemplative elegance seemingly unusual for other venues of a similar nature. 185 gets busy and crowded on the weekends, and rightfully so, but if you find yourself spinning your wheels during the week and in need of a cozy late night eat, set compass to 185, you will be glad you did.
