Chicago's Pizza - Columbus

This restaurant is fantastic! The buffet is delicious, but it’s only available from 11 to 1:30. Everything is just so tasty! The breadsticks, cheese sauce, cheese bread, pizza, and salad—it's all absolutely wonderful! Prices have increased since COVID, but now your drink is included in the buffet price. I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in town, which unfortunately isn't very often. But this place is definitely worth it!

I'd love to give this place 5 stars because the food is amazing and it's incredibly clean. We've come 3 times in the last 2 weeks and always tipped well except for tonight because the same thing has been an issue all 3x now. We originally thought maybeshe was having a bad night the first time but now 3 separate times the older blonde woman working the carry out register hasbeen exceptionally rude. I've always smiled at her, used manners, and this last time commented on how excited we were to find aChicago's in Columbus just for her to thrust the receipt at me. And tell me to sign it all with a nasty look on her face and arude tone then immediately walk away. I'm usually the type of person to leave a 40-50% tip especially on carry out because Iknow most people don't tip them but I just can't justify that anymore here with how she's treated us. If she hates her job somuch she feels the need to take it out on customers who are kind to her she needs to find somewhere else to work not in customerservice. This also happened at 6pm, 7pm, and 645pm no where near closing. I was always quick to decide what to order and keptthings simple and the same order each time. We aren't sure if we're going to come back at this point or just try to findsomewhere else.

I visited the lunch buffet with some coworkers, and I was pleased with the experience. Everything on the buffet was hot and fresh, and the salad bar was clean and well-kept. The pizza was delicious and offered a variety that catered to all tastes! I was especially impressed to find jalapeño nacho cheese available on the bar as well—what a great addition! I rated the atmosphere three stars mainly because they were playing Fox News on the TV, and there was a large group nearby having a loud political discussion, which made it difficult for us to have a conversation. However, I don't think that reflects poorly on the restaurant itself.

The pizza and pasta here are excellent! Our server was friendly and did her best despite the busy night. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. They also collaborate wonderfully with local businesses through fundraising opportunities. Additionally, they are very accommodating for book clubs.
