Cafe Phenix - Columbus

A charming experience, lovely art work and great comfort food. Baked goods are tasty and the croque madame was delicious. Reasonable portion sizes and a friendly staff. I am looking forward to their new location further up Gay.

I really don't think their coffee is that good here personally, so that's why the 3 star rating. The coffee is not very flavorful and the beans seem a little burnt. However, it is in a great location and the inside is adorable!

Ordered thru uber eats 1 salmon salad on croissant, 1 chicken salad on bread, 1 eggs salad on bread. Received 3 chicken salad sandwiches. 2 on bread, on in the most burned croissant I've ever seen.

I absolutely adore this hidden gem in the city! The food and treats are always fresh, and their soups and sandwiches are incredible. There's a special day when their seafood bisque is available, and I can’t get enough of it! The owners are genuinely kind; even though they are busy, they always take a moment to connect with you, which makes me feel valued. And don’t miss out on the bread pudding—it’s a must-try, made from a family recipe. Just be sure to ask about “Grandma” to learn the story behind it!

This is my favorite café in the city! The owner is such a delightful person. The café features a wonderful selection of pastries, charming decor, and an incredibly extensive beverage menu. It truly brings a taste of Britain to central Columbus. The macchiato is fantastic! They also offer 60 different tea flavors, along with many other options. During happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., some baked goods are just $1. P.S. They use real chocolate in their drinks!
