Bodega - Columbus

Bodega is a long-established spot in the Short North. I believe they used to be famous for their dollar grilled cheese sandwiches, which are now priced at $2.

I finally decided to check out Bodega, and I'm glad I did! I mention this because it was one of the first straight bars to arrive in the Short North about 15 years ago.

Bodega offers one of the best happy hours in downtown, along with fantastic daily specials. The $2 grilled cheese sandwiches are delicious, and the tomato soup is outstanding as well.

This place is quite decent for a quick drink. The interior has a rustic feel with a hint of saloon charm. On Saturday nights, when the weather is nice, it's lovely to relax on the terrace while enjoying some great entertainment.
