Rambo's Fat Cat Biscuits - Columbia

Grits, creamy blue grits! As a grit fanatic, I appreciated the creamy blue grits with pimento cheese! The biscuits are gigantic, so come on an empty stomach so you can enjoy you a massive biscuit! The dragon fruit mimosa and apple cider mimosa were absolutely delicious. The only drawback was in the area of service, the young lady slammed down my friend's hash brown casserole and biscuit as if she was angry. Her weirdness is why we ate quickly and left. Other than that, everyone else was kind and friendly.

Brunch-time Sunday. The service was friendly and prompt. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. The biscuits were fresh, warm, and the bacon was crisp to perfection.Would likely return to try more menu options given the good first experience.

3.5 clean environment, not a whole lot of parking but doable since there is other nearby parking, seemed like a place with a lot of regulars on the weekends. The pork belly biscuit surprised me the most with its juicy flavor this is a must try at Rambo's. The fried chicken biscuit was as expected, nothing crazy. But what wasn't expected was how much dough the biscuits had! There was more than enough for the sandwich I ended up eating my sandwich open faced because the top part of the biscuit was a bit too stiff for me. But I can see how some may take the other half of the biscuit and make another meal from it with a side! The service was quick and pointed no extra shop talk here. The one thing that was a bit disappointing with service was that we had gone in at 11am, which was two hours after they had opened, and they were just starting to brew coffee. They had told us they didn't have any earlier in the morning, which was strange since coffee is a morning staple for most places that serve breakfast!

I'm not going to give a bad review because I religiously order the Chipotle Pimento Cheese and Sausage Biscuit for delivery every Saturday. It's always tastes great and the portion is always generous. Highly recommend! However I tried the Brie and Fig Jam Biscuit today and was a bit disappointed. Not sure if it's because I ordered later or if they were out of ingredients but there was barely anything on the biscuit. Just a light swipe of each brie and fig jam.Like I said really love this place and they have been pretty consistent, but I was hoping for more with the brie and fig as it was essentially a plain biscuit for $10. Overall I recommend this place and this was probably a one time error. It happens.

Everything was FABULOUS!!! Food was definitely made from fresh ingredients and everyone in our party was more than satisfied ?The grits were out of this world good…Mac n cheese, fried green tomato and pimento cheese biscuit…awesome! Mimosas, sweet tea, services was friendly and fast! we will definitely be going back!!!Parking: Ample free parking behind the building
