フィードバックを提供するWe go here when we want food that tastes like we cook it at home. We stopped by after a game and they were not too busy. Food was excellent. The gravy was very good. Service was fast and staff was very nice.
Our waitress was super friendly and patient as well. The food was great! The order came out hot, fast, and everything was correct. And believe me, we ordered a LOT of food! The only thing I would change is the hash browns as they aren't shreddedpotatoes, but are chunks of potatoes. Highly satisfied with my dining experience and will most definitely visit this LizardsThicket again!
I just spent $18 on a meal at this restaurant and added a side salad. They gave me old lettuce and two sad tomatoes. To make matters worse, my ranch dressing was spilled all over the bag when they handed it to me. I called to complain, but all I got was a nonchalant "ok." Lol.
These days, my family and I only have breakfast at Lizard's Thicket. We love the crispy corned beef hash or liver pudding, the smooth and creamy grits (with just a few lumps here and there), and the perfectly scrambled eggs. And who can forget the delicious raisin toast with apple butter? The hot pancakes are a must-have, too - they're moist, fluffy, and topped with soft butter and syrup. We wish they would serve breakfast all day, as it's even better than their lunch and dinner menus.
Today, the service at the restaurant was slow. Other customers were served drinks and had their orders taken before our waiter, Justin, finally came over. It wasn't busy inside at all. The pork chop and chicken were crispy and hot, and the cornbread was deliciously warm. However, the cabbage was disappointingly hard. It would be better if they finely cut the cabbage to avoid this issue of tough pieces.
