Colorado Smokehouse - Colorado Springs

As a friend of someone from Kansas City, I have a great appreciation for their BBQ classics. Just like any good KC BBQ spot, you can smell the smoke as soon as you walk through the door. The variety of sauces from across the country will please everyone. The portion sizes are generous, so come hungry! Our office is conveniently located nearby, making it a fantastic place for a birthday dinner. (And thanks for the delicious Blackberry Cobbler!)

The man serves some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time, with generous portion sizes. They offer about nine different sauces to choose from, which is fantastic. Our server, Megan, was excellent; she knew just the right balance of checking in with us without interrupting our meal and conversation. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I tried the 2 meats and 2 sides plate tonight, which included ribs, chicken, collard greens, and beans. The ribs were quite flavorful, even better than what I typically make at home. The chicken was also tasty and was enhanced with a drizzle of sauce. The collard greens had a distinct flavor that became more enjoyable with each bite. The beans were served slightly warmer than room temperature and were decent. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I hope this place thrives. The food here is definitely superior to Dickey's and Rudy's.
