Green Cabin Kollupitiya - Colombo

Being in the heart of the city this place used to be the best spot to get pastries and Tarts when we in school. Now it’s so run down it sickening to walk inside. They sell burnt Chinese rolls! You need to shut down and reevaluate your establishment! Even a small time bakery does a better job! So many offices in the area if you really make a turn around I am sure your business will regain its former glory…

Oh! what happen One of my old favorite cafe in Kollupitiya was an integral part our life, remember we used to go there for the finest lamprise and grab a few freshly fried savory snacks. However, after about years of absence what’s is noticeable is how little it seems to have changed with time. The same old seating, dirty wash sink, the place is so rundown and filthy most of all the staff doesn’t care Nothing good to say about the food, it was a waste of money and worst lamprise I have had in a long time. The banana leaves were so burnt, it seems that they have reheated them several times before, the curries had lost its flavour and tasted burnt. Yaks! Will never return Didn’t deserve a single star!

Glad it has reopened. Not the same place but it is back here. Good place to grab a bite if you are on the road. They do have a good spread. The ice coffee , ribbon cake, pineapple gateaux and the lump rice are the favorite among many. They are truly awesome. The chocolate cake which was once a hit, has lost it magic sadly.

This green cabin outlet is located in Galle road, but the place is hideous I have to say. I had to walk again to find it on foot. Place is quite small but well organized. Bakery items, sweets such as cakes available here along with some beverages. Prices are higher than I remember. Customer care was polite and good. Food is good in quality. Some space available for parking here. No wheelchair accessible parking or wheelchair accessible entrance available.

Worst ever eat of famous green cabin. Pineapple gateau is packed in Cling film and once opened it was a complete mess and rotten acidic smell over the whole house. Shame on you. Avoid buying.
