フィードバックを提供するWe have owned a summer house in Coloma for nearly five years and were pleasantly surprised to discover Coloma FOP for their authentic Friday Night Fish Fry. This hidden gem was exactly what we were looking for - a local experience similar to a church or VFW. The spacious hall and bar were bustling with activity when we arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday. The dining room was filled with groups seated at long banquet tables, enjoying the All You Can Eat fish (perch and chicken strips), scalloped potatoes, corn, tossed salad with various dressings, and a selection of desserts (cookies, cupcakes, jello, etc). The food was delicious, both the fish and chicken were tasty, the sides were flavorful, and the desserts were amazing (especially the fluffy and moist lemon cupcakes). All of this was offered at the incredible price of $10, with drinks costing between $3 and $4. We assume they only offer the Fish Fry during Lent, but we will definitely be keeping an eye on their Facebook page for updates and will be sure to attend another event soon. What a fantastic find!
Wow, we had a summer house in Coloma for nearly five years and had no idea this place existed! We were searching for an authentic Friday night fish fry experience, not just a restaurant or diner serving fried fish. We wanted somewhere with a local feel, like a church, and we stumbled upon Coloma FOP on their Facebook page. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday night and found the parking lot nicely filled and the dining room bustling with groups seated at long banquet tables. They offered all-you-can-eat perch and chicken strips, along with sides like scalloped potatoes, corn, and salad with a variety of dressings. For dessert, there was a selection of treats like cookies, cupcakes, and jello that were all delicious. The fish and chicken were tasty, the sides were flavorful, and the desserts were also great (the lemon cupcakes were particularly fluffy and moist). All of this was only $10, with drinks costing between $3 and $4. It seems they only have the fish fry during Lent, but we will keep an eye on their page for updates and definitely plan on attending another event soon. What a find!
