One of the drinks slide off the table and spilled tequila all over two people. The waitress said ohyeah that happens then left. She was more concerned about the floor getting cleaned than she was the customers. We asked for amanager and she gave us a free drink but wasn't in a rush. Got our dip after 45 minutes with minimum chips. After 2 hours weleft. No main orders were delivered. If you're thinking about coming here, just don't.
Food is terrible.. Ordered pork belly and got fried pork chop pieces... Also got the red fish dinner. Fish was way over cooked on a bed of rice and veggies doused in a vinaigrette sauce. Service was great though and bar tenders very attentive
Great place with good drinks and great services. This bar has a great sleek look, the fire place in side is a great touch. The service is not only fast but everything the bartender (Amelia) brought was super delicious. I will definitely be going backsoon.
Walked in and watched 2 people served after a table of 4 of us were seated. Got to love that 1 star service! 4 servers and 1 bartender with 4 occupied tables. Save your money and time on this one.
Hotel bars are commonplace. It makes sense to offer an on- site bar and restaurant because guests like the convenience, even if the food and drink is a little overpriced. Such is the case with Canteen Bar Grill, a bar and eatery located at Cavalry CourtHotel in College Station, Texas. Canteen Bar Grill is a generally comfortable place for food and drink. There is a sense oftogetherness when you eat and drink here, which is par for the course at this hotel. The long tables are like those of acafeteria, perfect for conversing with others. If you want a little more privacy, you can find private tables, too. And if youlike the ambiance of a fire, there is a fireplace you can cozy up next to with drink in hand. This establishment often featureslive music, and it can get quite loud. It?s best to ask for a table on the far end, away from the band if you don?t want thedistraction. If you like the outdoors, there is outdoor seating, too, close to the hotel pool. Keep in mind that this open endof the establishment is where the band is usually playing. Even though you?re outside, you won?t have any trouble hearing thetunes. I like the food and drink at Canteen Bar Grill. I usually go for the Cavalry burger, chicken sandwich, pork nachos, orsliders when I visit. There is a decent beer selection and a good number of specialty cocktails. The one issue I have is theprices- if you like cocktails and plan on downing several, you need to make sure to bring along plenty of cash because the costwill add up quickly. This is why I recommend visiting during happy hour, if possible, when the appetizers and drinks are cutdown in price. Hotel restaurants and bars are usually a little overpriced, but they offer convenience and Canteen Bar Grillcertainly fits the definition of what I expect in a hotel bar and grill, but with a little bit more. The fireplace, liveentertainment, respectable beer selection, and friendly service are enough to earn this establishment an ab
