フィードバックを提供するThis place is amazing. It was my first date night place at Hibachi-Grill and of course this is always funny. The sauce used for the Hibachi is so amazing that I long it all the time. They have the best ginger dressing for their salads I'm obsessed with. The sushi is so big and fresh.
I will be honest and say that my review is based exclusively on the experience. For people on the Colchester/Salem area, Toyo is our favorite sushi/hibachi appearance. I would say we get a great value / quality here. The hibachi Takeout is also impressive, only without the show and waiting. We also really enjoy the pad Thai and other noodle dishes. The online order also makes it convenient!
The service in this restaurant is the worst we have ever experienced. We made reservations for a big party. Half the party was less than 10 minutes too late for heavy thunderstorms in the area. The hostess sat half the party and told the other half that we were unable to sit with them because we are too late. The waitress was terrible, took some of our drinks orders and then we had to call them back for the rest. The soup was lukewarm and the salad floated in the dressing. The Hibachi-Koch was very good for the children of our party. When we eat, the waitress asked if I wanted a box and continued to take my plate away, even though I had eaten. None of the front personnel really took care of when we complained about the service.
Pleasant atmosphere, the Hibachi Grill is always great. The food and the service I always had here were always very good.
Overall the food was okay at best, cleanliness of the restaurant was okay at best, the major downside to our visit was at checkout. We had a $100 gift card that was roughly 4 years old (it was given as a house warming from our realtor). We presented the gift card with the associated receipt showing the date of purchase, amount, and the number of the gift card. The manager came to us and said the card had already been used in the amount of $50 leaving only $50 remaining. I asked for the date it was used, she went back to check on that and came back with a different story. This time she said the gift card was only purchased for $50 and not the $100 that is listed on the receipt with the matching gift card number. Long story a bit shorter?.the card was clearly a $100 card, it was old and they chose not to honor it for the full value. We paid the balance and left. Gift card issue aside, we would never have returned, however it?s because of the gift card this review is being written. Supposedly it was the owner who made the decision and told the manager how to deal with the gift card. Shame on you, terrible management decision, you certainly lost us forever, hopefully you lose a few more customers as well because of this post.
