Toyo Asian Bistro - Colchester

When I first came here over year ago I thought that they had great sushi and really good service. I waited this long to post a review and I have to say this place rocks. The service rocks the food rocks and the owner frickin rocks. Will 10/10 be back here every chance I get.

The food is fantastic! There are so many options, including various types of sushi, so there's definitely something for everyone. I will definitely be returning! It's a lovely spot for a fun date night.

We went to Toyo for a family celebration and reserved a hibachi table, where we were seated quickly. The service was great, and the hibachi chef was entertaining. The food was generally good, but it wasn't the best hibachi I've ever had. The chicken was just okay, and the vegetables were a bit too saucy. On the other hand, the seafood was delicious and flavorful.

I had a fantastic hibachi experience! The chef went above and beyond to ensure our friend's one-year-old had a great time, providing him with a kazoo and a balloon. The food was excellent, and the price was reasonable given the quality and overall experience. My only suggestion would be to improve the air conditioning, as it was quite uncomfortable inside; however, to be fair, it was an exceptionally hot day. I'm already looking forward to going back soon!
