Coisas Da Lena - Coimbra

Coisas da Lena is tiny. From what I noticed, it's got 4 tables outside and 3 inside. All the cooking is done using an oven and a single stove. After being greeted warmly, my wife and I sat at an inside table. We had tasty canapes followed by local bread with pork loin with bacon, and pork loin with caramelised apples. The dishes are a little eccentric but delicious. My wife had a class of house white, I had a local beer and we both had sparkling water. Service was delightful. It's a happy, friendly place. Great wee lunch.

What a little gem! We had a lovely lunch at this family-run little restaurant. Friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

We arrived as the mother/daughter duo opened up for breakfast. Simple menu. Tasty eggs and bacon. Nice service. Like sitting at someone’s kitchen table.
