Ancient Village - Coimbatore

The place is on the highway. The best part of the restaurant is that the dishes were served quickly. These include dishes, the time to prepare tandoori. The ambience looks good, but it does not always contribute to the overall experience. While the main dishes were good, the desserts were average. If you are looking for a place to quickly finish your meal, then this is a good option. But please note the costs as it can be a little on the higher side.

Ambiance is so good to eat dinner with family and friends.

We chanced upon this restaurant on our way back from KL to BLR. As such there are not a lot of food options between Coimbatore and Salem, moreover, since it was already past 9 pm, we stopped at this place. Ambience was not very appealing in the night to be honest. They have open air and hut arrangement with dim lights which typically gives a bar kind of feel. Lot of mosquitos too. Toilet and hand wash area could use some better maintenance. Maybe things looks brighter during day. But what they lack in ambience was more than compensated with the food... Taste was AWESOME, and fresh too. We had alfam chicken, roti, butter naan and chicken pallipalayam (curry). Each dish was better than the other and the size of naan n roti are a lot bigger than what you would get in comparable BLR restaurants. We would definitely stop by here once during day time for sure

Food and ambience was okay but the service was poor. We ordered a dish but the server gave another dish. Most of the dish was not available .Management should have trained the server better

Good ambiance and nature friendly atmosphere…..can enjoy the food in open with calm quiet breeze ……food is a bit expensive but can adjust when you have a great ambiance especially in the evenings night Only drawback i felt there is that the time taken for serving food is long….hope it gets better Had a great time with my family there.
