Always enjoy eating at this restaurant and sharing it with friends. It is cozy and set up well with a really nice atmosphere. The food is really tasty however the desserts could be much better and bigger in portions.

Even tho there was only two of us, we asked the waitress if we could order the German Feast for 4 People, and could we take any left over’s home. Well what a feast, all up we had dinner at the Restaurant, left over’s for dinner the next night and lunch the following day. Great atmosphere, staffs were brilliant, we had a great night. Thank you

I visit this place every time I visit Coffs on business and love it. The food is as good as I experienced in Bavaria and the Dunkel beer is fantastic.I generally choose the Pork Knuckle and as yet have not been dissapointed.The staff are really friendly and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. please note I generally visit mid week.

As a local in Coffs Harbour and having a German background I tried this restaurant about 4 times. Unfortunately the experience was worse with every visit. Although staff are nice, the prices are too high and of late the value - eg. entree Flammkuchen are a joke with a waver thin pseudo "gourmet" touch where less is definitely not more... Just so not german. And sauerkraut, potato mash and one single sausage (so stingy) as a main meal... And worse of all, it was my son's birthday, he wanted to treat himself with a pork knuckle, we waited - ok, we were warned it can take about 30mins. Eventually as we all had our meals and we asked about the whereabouts of the knucke we were told "oh, it must not have gone through - would you like some pork belly instead? As is does not take as long." Just not good enough, The beer is overpriced and that fact that they cannot fit the large glasses under their beer taps and they have to use a small glass to fill and top up the larger glasses is just unfathomable to me... And pay through your nose... Sorry never again... Aaand, did you ever try to eat and cut on a slate plate... Horrible, the crunching and scraping is just unbearable. Enough is enough.

Great service and food, excellent good value mains but desserts were disappointing, overall a comfortable and pleasant evening
