We came back two days later for a Gin tasting. Great local distilled gins with tasting notes. We were fortunate to meet one of the owners have a chat. Bought a bottle at the liquor store. It will be great for them when they open for tasting on site.
What a stunning location. Beautiful restaurant. Helpful mostly French, staff, who found us a table twice in one day, when they were fully booked. Lovely views. Great service. Perfect oysters and some tasty tuna (pictured). If you go to Coffin Bay, book a table in advance and spend the day lazing in the sun, drinking wine and eating oysters. You will thank me.
Friendly fun upbeat, this cafe on the water’s edge in Coffin Bay is a must visit when in the area. Snag a table outside on the deck order your food inside at the counter. A range of fresh seafood plus some Asian tapas style offerings makes this place very cosmoplitan. Serving staff are chatty helpful. A great place to have lunch to take in the views. The owners also run the oyster experience which is a great experience to do bookings essential.
This place was incredible, the food in general was delicious. We really enjoyed the **** Mary oysters and the prawn tacos. The location is also beautiful. They have a good selection of wines, just stay away from the cocktails (I’d have loved a good cocktail but I’ll blame Covid, finding good bartenders is hard atm). I also had to wait too long in a line to order food but apart from that everything was perfect.
Informative tour about oyster farming and learning how to shuck. Paid for the extensive $65 seafood platter with the **** Mary oyster shot and oyster pate included. Affordable kayaking on site as well.
